Study reveals the ages parents find the most fun with their kids
The terrible-twos are something we have all experienced with our children, or are yet to! And we all know the lengths our teenagers can go to to do anything but spend time with us, their uncool parents!, but what ages do adults find children the easiest age and the best age to have fun with?
According to a new UK survey, which interviewed 2,000 parents, 40 percent of parents thought age five was the most fun age because their children “started to communicate properly” and had “a good sense of humor” and could properly play and enjoy sports and activities, but found that the ‘tween’ years of age ten to twelve were regarded by the parents surveyed as the most difficult age for spending time with their kids.
The survey also found that when asked about the fun to work ratio of having children, the majority said that it was an even 50/50 split.
The study was commissioned by Soreen as part of its Active Families, Happy Families partnership campaign with charity Youth Sport Trust.
