13 things only pregnant women would know
Being pregnant is a thoroughly unique experience, and while everyone is aware of what happens (that we grow tiny humans), there are certain things that only a woman who has been pregnant will properly understand.
13 things only pregnant women would know
- What it feels like to be completely terrified and excited at the same time.
- Morning sickness that can last all day. Where did the “morning” even come from?
- Cankles that can engulf your entire leg. Who knew that was even possible?
- Willing on the pain of labour, especially in your last trimester. You’re quite frankly tired of being pregnant, so anything that will relieve it is worth while.
- What it is like to have to pee every 15 minutes. All. Night. Long.
- The anger you feel when complete strangers comment on how big you are.
- The first time you feel the life growing inside of you move. Amazing.
- When a baby does a flip off your cervix and lands on your bladder.
- What it feels like to be punched in the stomach from the inside.
- What it’s like to pee a little when you cough. Or sneeze. Or breathe.
- Sleeping in a fortress of pillows.
- Loving someone deeply before you even meet them.
- What it feels like to be completely terrified and excited at the same time.
But one thing we can say for sure is that it is all worth it, for the little bundle you get at the end of those nine months.
