After seeing a midwife show new parents how their baby was positioned in the womb for nine months, Mary became inspired to take the pictures.

The stunning photos show how babies rest in their mother’s womb for the period of pregnancy. In an interview with HuffPost UK Parents, Mary Fermont said:

“When I take those picture you kind of get an idea how the baby fitted inside,” “Most of the babies also calm down when you hold them like this, it’s very special to see.” adding:
“Every time I witness a birth I can’t believe that baby just came out of a woman.”

She also added that babies are most secure and comfortable in this position after being this way in their mother’s womb for nine months.
