Bricks 4 Kidz

Bricks 4 Kidz is offering a range of LEGO® themed workshops during the mid-term break 2018 for boys and girls aged 4 to 12 years. The LEGO® mid-term camps have been designed to teach the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM) to children, aged 5 – 12 in a fun and entertaining way. The LEGO® themes range from Frozen, Super Mario Bros & Friends, Minions, Minecraft, to Star Wars and Jurassic World. Archaeologist’s dig at the Museum of History and Archaeology

Follow the clues and uncover the mystery in this tour hour tour in Dublin’s Museum of History and Archaeology. Taking place from 2pm to 4pm on February 16. Admission is free and no booking is required. See here for more details.

King John’s Castle activity camps in Limerick

Live like a medieval King for a day (or two) in King John’s castle in Limerick. Practice your archery skills, or make your own medallion in the atmospheric castle setting. Book for your pace on Thursday February 15th and/or Friday February 16th from 10am to 3pm. See their website for more details.

Dinosaur Dig at Dublin Zoo

If you have a budding paleontologist in your house, then they’ll love to experience their own archaeological dig in Dublin Zoo next week. These special workshops require booking and take place on February 15th and 16th. See their website here for more information.

Mid-term tales at Glasnevin Cemetery

Visit Glasnevin cemetery and learn something new about Ireland’s history in these tours designed especially for families. These tours will take in the oldest part of the cemetery and will tell the tales of grave-robbing, prison escapes, and deadly animals, and culminate in a visit to Michael Collins’ grave. Tour times are at 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm on February 10, 11, 17 and 18. Visit their website for more information.

National Gallery of Ireland

The National Gallery of Ireland is running a series of mid-term break camps for children aged from four to eight ranging in price from €40 to €60.  On February 11 and 18, there are free family tours as well as a new free parents’ tour on Monday, February 12 at 2pm. Check out their website here for more information.
